REPLY 1988 (ANSWER ME 1988) EPISODE 1 - 20 FULL ENGSUB / INDO SUB

Reply 1988 (Hangul: 응답하라 1988; RR: Eungdabhara 1988) is a 2015 South Korean television series starring Lee Hyeri, Park Bo-gum, Ryu Jun-yeol, Go Kyung-pyo, and Lee Dong-hwi. It is a heart-warming drama set in the year 1988, about five families living in the same neighborhood in Ssangmun-dong, Dobong District, Northern Seoul, that includes another "mystery husband" theme like its predecessors Reply 1997 and Reply 1994.

Main characters

The middle child of her family, she is not very bright in studies and is the only girl in their group of five neighborhood friends.
Stoic and sarcastic, grumbles a lot, loves soccer and also one of the top students in school. He harbors a crush for Deok-sun.
A genius baduk player who is mostly quiet and struggles with simple day-to-day tasks. He likes Deok-sun.
A caring brother and a dependable son to his family.
The geek of the group, but more knowledgeable about girls and life in general.

Plot

SYNOPSIS

Drama series follows reporters for a broadcasting company as they chase the truth.
In-Ha has a Pinocchio Syndrome. She hiccups whenever she lies.
Choi Dal-Po is a first year society reporter at the broadcasting company. He has a handsome appearance, but his ugly clothing and hair style hides that fact. He has an excellent memory and speaks well.
Seo Bum-Jo is from a rich family and has a bright personality. Yoon
Yoo-Rae has a timid personality, but strong will. She was a huge fan of an idol person in her high school and college days.

NOTE

  1. "Pinocchio" takes over the Wednesday & Thursday 21:55 time slot previously occupied by "Too Lovely Girl for Me".
  2. Actor Kim Woo-Bin was offered the lead male role.
  3. Actor Lee Jong-Suk has been offered the lead role. He is considering the offer.
  4. Director Jo Soo-Won and screenwriter Park Hye-Ryun previously worked together in 2013 SBS drama series "I Can Hear Your Voice."
